Rescheduled for a Later Date
PERC/MACEAC CHP Workshop for Higher Education Facilities
PERC, the Pennsylvania Environmental Resource Consortium, in cooperation with the Mid-Atlantic Clean Energy Application Center, is presenting a workshop on the exciting potential of Combined Heat & Power. We will assemble at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia and learn about the opportunities Combined Heat and Power can present for reducing energy consumption, cutting green house gas emissions and saving precious budgetary dollars. After a brief intro to CHP, we will explore CHP applications for colleges along with a look at potential CHP design. Speakers from a number of PERC schools will discuss their experiences with Combined Heat and Power, speaking to operational efficiency and results but also to the practical questions of how they got the project to happen.
This is a great event for physical plant/ facilities officers as well as campus sustainability directors and green team members--and any faculty or staff person with an interest in greening their campus's energy consumption. Bringing faculty and staff with a variety of interests and responsibilities is strongly encouraged.
